I'm reading het! Well, technically it's one of those threesome dealies, so there's a smidgeon of Brian/Nick, in addition to a whole heck of a lot of heterosexual lovin' with Stacy, Nick's beautiful, blonde, perfect girlfriend/soulmate. And it will not end! Their first night together lasted ten chapters!
The thing is, it's not badly written--AJ, Brian, and Kevin in particular are all well done. And the sequel to the series (or is that the sequel to the sequel to the series?) promises to be some interesting Brian/AJ. Now if I can only make it that far...

If you notice, Stacy is also the name of the girl who writes it, so not only are you reading het, you're also reading Marry Sue (well, sort of) LOL

I quite liked Brian's characterisation and the evolution of the threesome, though the immaturity of Nick and Stacy got on my nerves after a while. I wish writers would understand you can have drama without drama queens. Still, the series is not, as you say, badly written, and once the author stops describing Stacy in Mary Sue detail (height, bust size, every stitch she's wearing) there are some good scenes. I haven't read many m/m/f threesomes in this fandom.

I just finished the third part of "Lucidity" and see exactly what you mean about the drama queens. Brian, however, continues to delight. As does AJ, so long as he's not mooning over Nick.
