When I first started reading boyband slash it seemed that m/m/f threesomes were everywhere, but now that I think of it I don't remember coming across one in a long time. This might be because they tended to be written by BSB het writers who wanted to spice up their stories, and now that more 'N Sync slashers are writing the occasional BSB or crossover story, I don't feel the need to go as far afield in searching out Backstreet slash.
I just finished the third part of "Lucidity" and see exactly what you mean about the drama queens. Brian, however, continues to delight. As does AJ, so long as he's not mooning over Nick.
