I quite liked Brian's characterisation and the evolution of the threesome, though the immaturity of Nick and Stacy got on my nerves after a while. I wish writers would understand you can have drama without drama queens. Still, the series is not, as you say, badly written, and once the author stops describing Stacy in Mary Sue detail (height, bust size, every stitch she's wearing) there are some good scenes. I haven't read many m/m/f threesomes in this fandom.
