After a tense couple of days, our phoneline is once again in working order, and my overdue recommendations can be posted:
Day 12 Expect to Find by Cliokat. The dim light over the bar flickered occasionally, causing the liquids in their glass bottles to glitter. He closed his eyes and pulled in a deep breath before lifting his glass. Sweet and cold, the soda left a sticky feeling in his mouth. He could taste the absence of the bitter-hot whiskey that his tongue still expected, even after all this time. He figured he always would.
Day 13 Up and Not Down by Silvia Kundera. Warnings: some disturbing Aaron implications.
AJ looks broken from the bottom up. And it turns out that he is, maybe always was, so perhaps Aaron has something good going on here after all.
Day 14 Red by Zarah. Sex with AJ isn't the way he always thought it would be. Not that he's ever thought about it, he hasn't, but still, it isn't the way he's imagined it.
