Could anyone tell me:
1) whether currants are put into scones in England? (for breakfast, specifically, if that makes a difference)
and
2) if there's a term for the process of making people able to move in their pictures in Harry Potter?

Also, I found a number of websites giving lists of traditional English breakfasts, and scones were definitely on there...though I don't know how common it is to eat them alone, rather than in conjunction with bacon, sausages, fried tomatoes, fried bread (?), etc., etc. ad nauseum.
