Could anyone tell me:

1) whether currants are put into scones in England? (for breakfast, specifically, if that makes a difference)

and

2) if there's a term for the process of making people able to move in their pictures in Harry Potter?

Also, if there's anyone who would care to beta a Fred/George/Harry story after I've gotten answers to those two questions, I'd very much appreciate it. Please leave a comment or email me at jain7856@juno.com if you're interested.

Fred/George/Harry!! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Oh, I can't wait! I adore that combo, in case you couldn't tell, lol.

I've got a bit of beta experience under my belt. Is the story extremely long? I could definitely do a moderate length one, if you need...

Currants

I don't know, but I'm heading to England tonight, so I'll try to find out. (I don't think scones are traditional for breakfast, however). Anything else you want to know?

And by the way, how are you doing? It's been a ridiculously long time (my fault). Is there a phone number where I could call you one of these days? email it to rmylastname@mail.com

I suck at beta-ing, but I'll cheerfully read it. And yes, there are currant breakfast scones. :)

Urk! No, I'm at xoverau@hotmail.com now, sorry.

Well, it's not so much that I can't beta. It's that I'm unwilling to criticize a friend's work, even when asked. I find myself really...not being straightforward or thorough at all, and that's not fair to anyone.

But I'd cheerfully read it and tell you how I liked it. :)

I have had blackcurrant scones for breakfast in England before. With tea, jam, and clotted cream. :)
