Haberdashery help?

Does anyone know of a store that sells hatboxes for a reasonable price? Preferably pretty ones that I wouldn't mind displaying in my room, since my closet is teensy, but even plain ones would do at this point. (There's something very wrong with the world when all the hatboxes I'm able to find cost anywhere from twice to ten times the cost of the hat.)

There's a shop in Roseville that sells decorative hat boxes. Also at the Kirribilli Markets.

most of the decorative ones I can find are either pricey or miniature - but I did stumble across the following. the price is low, and while they're plain, you could probably paint or cover them in decorative paper.

you could try micheals or some other craft store for plain round boxes

Places like Marshall's, Ross, TJMaxx, and Tuesday Morning carry nesting hatboxes sets. I'm not sure if they're in your price range, but in at least some of these places you can get part, rather than all of the set if that's what you prefer.
