My requests are already fairly comprehensive, and if you find the one with which you were matched sufficient in and of itself, then feel free to write your story based just on that. If you wanted additional comments/clarifications, however, please continue reading.

I like happy or at least hopeful endings, though the path leading up to that ending can be fraught with angst and misunderstandings. (The two exceptions here are my gen and OMC requests for Melusine; I know Gideon will be all right in the future, so feel free to make him miserable throughout your entire story if that's how the muse moves you.)

Though I'd very much prefer slash for The Aeneid and Outlaws of Sherwood, if your match is one of those fandoms and you don't feel capable of tackling my request, a good gen story focused on one or both of the characters I chose in that fandom is more than acceptable. No het, please, except as references to a canonical relationship.

If you do end up writing slash, I like egalitarian partnerships--which isn't to say that the two men involved are equal in all respects, but rather that they both contribute to the relationship and appreciate the other's contributions--and mostly vanilla sex. (Again, all bets are off if you choose to write the Gideon/OMC story. If you like writing power imbalances, issues of consent, or other kinks, you can feel free to indulge yourself with this pairing. However, I don't like breathplay, bloodplay, non-consensual sex, necrophilia, or coprophilia; if Gideon's partner does, then I'd prefer that Gideon himself not enjoy these things. Note that it's not necessary to write dark!fic if you opt to write Gideon/OMC, merely optional. I'd purely love to read a story in which Gideon's misery in Kekropia is lightened somewhat by a sympathetic friend/lover.)

I like sexually explicit stories, but if you'd rather not write one or if it doesn't fit your plot, then fade-to-blacks or a focus on the non-sexual aspects of the relationship are just fine. I don't like PWPs or vignettes, however; let something happen besides sex and/or introspection. A substantial change in relationship dynamics counts as plot in my book, so don't feel pressured to send the characters on epic quests or the like. (Unless, of course, that's what you prefer to write, in which case go for it.)

First-time stories are one of my favorite things, but a good established relationship story can be wonderful, as well. I'd prefer the former for my Aeneid and Outlaws of Sherwood requests, in particular, but would be quite happy with the latter.

Few things distress me as much as bad grammar and/or spelling. If these areas give you trouble, I'd greatly appreciate your finding a beta reader for the story.

Finally, thank you in advance for the story you're writing. I love all three of the fandoms I requested, and they're all of them exceedingly rare, so pretty much anything you write will make me ecstatic.
