The bad:
  • Fifty+ hours in the car with my parents.

  • Attempting to drive while five backseat drivers all gave me contradictory advice.

  • Missing a Backstreet Boys concert.

  • All this for a wedding that lasted exactly half an hour.

The good:
  • Fifty+ hours in the car with my younger sisters.

  • Driving through Colorado was awesome. Lovely landscapes, and the most fun mountains I've driven on to date.

  • Seeing my brothers for the first time in a year and a half. The demonstrative one was cuddly and affectionate and wrestled with me, and the other one allowed me to hug him three times and kiss him once.

  • Being the official witness for the marriage, with the signing of documents and everything. (I still can't get over it; my brother asked me last minute, and I'm so proud and happy that he'd want me to fill that role for him.)

  • My baby brother's married! He was so handsome and adult, and my new sister-in-law was beautiful, and I maybe cried a bit from joy.

And then I came home and hugged all of my housemates a lot (because I'd missed them) and received the greatest [livejournal.com profile] reversathon assignment ever. All in all, a pretty good weekend--though if any of my other siblings decide to get married in Las Vegas on less than a month's notice, there will be dire consequences indeed.
