I've been keeping a nervous eye on a fat, two-inch spider crawling up the inside of my window, and a much less nervous eye on a similarly-sized spider spinning a web on the outside of the same window. A bird just flew up, hovered for a second so that it could grab the spider--I heard the click as its beak tapped the glass--and flew away again. Coolest. thing. ever.

I ended up pulling my bed out into the middle of the room and sleeping with the light on last night.

Then I came back from disposing of the second spider and started to dust away the cobwebs in my window, only to find yet another spider. Luckily, this one was only an inch in diameter rather than two inches, so it wasn't too scary, even though it was twice as fast as the other two. It's outside now, too.
I swear, I'm going to start squishing the motherfuckers if they don't let up.
