The inspiration for doing this is drawn shamelessly from [livejournal.com profile] musesfool's SB/RL Must-Read List. In my (partial) defense, I had been compiling lists of fics for these pairings earlier ...just very slowly and lazily.

Since: 1) I can't make pretty, shiny polls, and 2) the pairings in question aren't so popular as to warrant a system of categorization--though hopefully that will change as more people turn onto the lovely subtext in PoA--I'm asking that people submit their recommendations as comments to this post, and I'll tidy it up and make a second post listing all of the recs afterwards. Links to your favorite Sirius/Harry, Remus/Harry, and Sirius/Remus/Harry stories are all very much desired and appreciated.

I know I'm hardly the first person to rec this, but my utterly favorite Sirius/Harry story is Raggle Taggle Gypsy by Amanuensis. Knocked my socks off.

Ginny/Cho/Hermione/Ron/Harry/James/Lily/Sirius/Remus/Peter/Percy/Pansy/Draco/Neville forever, man. :D OT14! I never seem to be able to get fics in my preferred ship. *sigh*

Remus/Harry I liked:
The Anatomy of a Kiss (http://www.livejournal.com/users/ficbymarks/52145.html) by [livejournal.com profile] ficbymarks.
L is for Lygerastia (http://www.livejournal.com/community/pervy_werewolf/117287.html) by [livejournal.com profile] rosesanguina.
Reminded Possession (http://www.livejournal.com/community/pervy_werewolf/40580.html) by [livejournal.com profile] nanthimus.

There was another one I loved, but I can't remember the link, so I'll have to go searching for it. And while I've read a couple of really good Sirius/Harrys, I can't remember a one. And I've read and saved some good Sirius/Remus/Harrys, but--um. I really need to start organising my bookmarks. Or putting names on them. :D I'll look, though.

From: [identity profile] i-smile.livejournal.com

That's like Pansy/Percy (only two!). I only know of four stories in fandom--one doesn't really go into what they'd see in each other at all, and three were written because I was going on and on about the ship. :D What's GSF?

You totally rock for compiling this list. I'll go check.

From: [identity profile] i-smile.livejournal.com

I like that idea. :D They really should have more group sex in HP.

On Pansy/Percy, well. They're so very similar, really--ambitious and bitchy and really, really into that authority thing (they like Fudge and Umbridge!). Pansy's a little bit less self-controlled, but she is a 15-year-old girl, and seen from the POV of an enemy, someone from a rival house, whereas Percy's seen from a younger character's POV, and that POV character isn't (initially) hostile. Just sees him as having a bit of a stick up his ass (which I won't deny :D). I think they'd both really be into power games in a relationship, but they could be either top or bottom. They've both been prefect, both understand not being noticed despite their achievments (see: Draco for Pansy; everyone in Gryffindor & his family, except his mother, for Percy). I think they'd fight a lot, but if they could manage to get past being insulted, they'd see that they really do understand and could respect one another. And it seems to me that sometimes that's really all they're looking for (Percy's blow-up with his family over their assumption that he must be getting his job for dodgy reasons, undermining his sense of achievment--and not really understanding why he wants to achieve success there in the first place; Pansy is very devoted to the people who are in her house, who, I assume, understand her motivations)--aside from making money and getting to the top. :D

...and I don't think that explained it very well, and I used pretty poor examples at points, but dude, I think that's long enough. Just skim for words like 'ambition', 'understanding', and 'power'. ;)

[livejournal.com profile] scribbulus_ink wrote GSF HP fic: Bottom's Up (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=scribbulus_ink&keyword=Bottoms+Up&filter=all). Harry, Neville, Draco, Lupin, Snape, and Bill Weasley.

All right, here comes a shameless self-pimp, since I've written those pairings quite a bit:

In a London House (Harry/Remus, NC-17) (http://www.skyehawke.com/archive/story.php?no=1632)

Being The First (Harry/Remus, PG-13) (http://www.skyehawke.com/archive/story.php?no=1511) by [livejournal.com profile] copperbadge

If I can think of other fics, I'll post more links later. Now I need a break. ;-)

[livejournal.com profile] maeglinyedi has already included my favorites. (If you're taking "rec advice" by acclamation, please register strong "oh-yes-my-faves" for her "Phases of the Moon" and [livejournal.com profile] amanuensis1's "No Happy Memories".)

And since she's self-pimped, I will too:

Remus/Harry: Scars (http://isis.arithmancy.net/scars.htm) (NC17)

Sirius/Harry: Kiss It Better (http://isis.arithmancy.net/kissitbetter.htm) (R)

From: [identity profile] everythingisaid.livejournal.com

You are asking for links for my three favorite pairings! I love it.

I see that a lot of my favorites are mentioned already, but here are some others (not in any order):

Paper Moon (http://www.livejournal.com/community/wishforthemoon/13625.html) by [livejournal.com profile] miss_mosh. NC-17. The fic contains "first time, a sprinkling of angst, smut and oooh... a bit of romance." Remus/Harry.

Untitled (http://www.livejournal.com/users/supergrover24/153642.html) by [livejournal.com profile] supergrover24. Author's Summary: "Sirius is back. Things aren't what they used to be." Remus/Harry.

Being Checked Twice (http://www.livejournal.com/community/pornish_pixies/129086.html) by [livejournal.com profile] mousapelli. Remus/Sirius/Harry, NC-17. Author's Summary: "Remus is attempting to make a grocery list."

Fire (http://www.livejournal.com/users/kessie/87978.html) by [livejournal.com profile] kessie. Rated R. Remus/Harry.

Home Comforts (http://mortal-moon.org/mm/archive/homecomforts.htm) by Scarlet Carly. Written for the Mortal Moon Fuh-Q-Fest (http://mortal-moon.org/mm/archive/3.htm). Summary: "Worried about Remus, Harry invites him to stay in his new home." Remus/Harry.

Just a scar (http://www.livejournal.com/users/dragon_light/53897.html?style=mine#cutid1) by [livejournal.com profile] dragon_light. Remus/Harry.

Competitive Assessment (http://www.thedarkarts.org/restrictedsection/fic.php?fic=tda:/authors/lasair/CA.html) by Lasair. Summary: "Severus is frustrated." Remus/Harry, but some Snape...jealousy?

Washing Away (http://www.livejournal.com/users/scribbulus_ink/138566.html) by [livejournal.com profile] scribbulus_ink. NC-17. An answer to [livejournal.com profile] venivincere's HP Hydrosmut Challenge (http://www.livejournal.com/users/venivincere/83379.html). Author's Summary: "Sirius has taken to standing naked in the rain; Harry wonders why." Sirius/Harry.

Unrequited (http://www.livejournal.com/users/phoenixw/157582.html) by [livejournal.com profile] phoenixw. Author's Summary: "The War is over. Harry and Draco go to live with Remus at Grimmauld Place, at least until they are of age. Harry has a crush on Remus, Draco finds out." Remus/Harry, Harry/Draco, implied Remus/Sirius. NC-17. Warnings: No happy ending. Sexually explicit. Dubious consent.

These are not fic recommendations, but I thought I might mention two RL/HP fic archives. There is, of course, the Mortal Moon Fuh-Q-Fest (http://mortal-moon.org/mm/archive/3.htm), which has all Remus/Harry fics. But you have to be careful with some of those fics...some of them aren't all that great. There is also a RL/HP Fic Archive: Scarred (http://snarky-slytherin.net/scarred).

*blinks* Thank you!

Anyway, I came to rec a couple of Flashficathon entries - Marks' To Play the Watcher (http://www.livejournal.com/users/ficbymarks/42915.html), one-sided Sirius/Harry, and Reena's great Remus/Harry which I know she *must* have up somewhere else, but the only link I can find at present is the one on my journal. (http://www.livejournal.com/users/lasultrix/144038.html) I've just left a stern comment on her LJ telling her to put it up on her site.

If any of these have been recced already, my only defense is, my right eye is too blurry to make sense of anything. If they haven't been recced yet, then by all means, my right eye is perfectly okay!

Sirry (although I think Sarryious is pretty funny):

Your Pack of Secrets (http://glassesreflect.net/hother/packofsecrets.html) by Aspen.

Homebodies (http://glassonion.populli.org/archive/11/homebodies.shtml) by Te.

Please Understand (http://glassesreflect.net/hother/pleaseunderstand.html) by Telanu.

Faces of Love: Three Vignettes (http://www.astronomytower.org/restrictedsection/fic.php?fic=at:/authors/slumber/FLTV.html) by Slumber. (you'll have to go to the vignette at the very bottom, the other two aren't Sirry related.)

Everyone else has recced my favourite fics. Thanks for compiling this list!

From: [identity profile] spiritstairway.livejournal.com

Oh, duh, brain spaz. YPS is PG-13; Homebodies is R; Please Understand is R, and FOL is R.

From: [identity profile] queenofhell.livejournal.com

Yay! You're compiling recs for the two pairings I want to read!

I just finished reading Your Pack of Secrets (http://papermoon.velveteen.net/yourpackofsecrets.html) by Aspen. Lovely Sirius/Harry.

From: [identity profile] queenofhell.livejournal.com

*g* I too am a lover of multiple 'ships. Bill/Remus especially has been calling me lately, as well as George/Fred/pretty much anybody. But you're right--there are some really popular ships that have a lot of fics (and thus a higher incidence of good fics), and then there are only a couple of other pairing fics. Which is why when people like you compile links to relatively rare ships, my heart is filled with joy.

From: [identity profile] painless-j.livejournal.com

I'm so late that all my fav fics have been already recced. But I'm feeling as if I were invited to a feast :) I was dreaming that smb would compile a list of SB/HP recs. Happiness, I know what you look like!

Thank you so much!

[aren't you going to go for LM/HP too?]

From: [identity profile] scribbulus-ink.livejournal.com

I've written several Remus/Harry stories:
The Chat Up
http://remembrall.slashcity.net/fiction/chatup.html

Just to Love
http://remembrall.slashcity.net/fiction/justtolove.html

I Feel Pretty
http://remembrall.slashcity.net/fiction/fishnets.html

I'm Too Sexy
http://remembrall.slashcity.net/fiction/toosexy.html

The Important Lessons
http://remembrall.slashcity.net/fiction/importantlessons.html

Sweet Sixteen is sort of Sirius/Harry
http://remembrall.slashcity.net/fiction/sweet16.html

And then someone already mentioned Washing Away, which is definitely Sirius/Harry
http://remembrall.slashcity.net/fiction/washingaway.html

From: [identity profile] anise-anise.livejournal.com

I've written 3 Harry/Remus stories.

Control Issues (http://www.livejournal.com/users/anise_anise/825.html#cutid1) PWP NC-17

In the End (http://www.livejournal.com/users/anise_anise/1282.html#cutid1) NC-17

Permanent Fixture (http://www.livejournal.com/users/anise_anise/2065.html#cutid1): Sequel to 'In the End' NC-17

From: [identity profile] marksykins.livejournal.com

Whee. Most of my stuff's already been added, but I'll throw this one onto the pile:
I'm Only Sleeping (http://www.aparecium.com/fics/imonlysleeping.html), Remus/Harry, NC-17 - Just fluffy established relationship smut.

And, then, let me rec a couple of unrequited-and-guilty!Remus/Harry fics (my favorite :D):
A Little Bit of Help (http://www.livejournal.com/community/pervy_werewolf/167502.html) by [livejournal.com profile] neon_yellow, NC-17 - Set the summer after GoF, Remus does a little watching under the Invisibility Cloak "watching".
Returning to Civilization (http://www.livejournal.com/community/pervy_werewolf/164716.html) by [livejournal.com profile] florahart, NC-17 - Remus has problems pushing young Harry out of his mind. Warning: Harry's thirteen here, but non-participatory.

From: [identity profile] drworm.livejournal.com

How interesting. And to think I only had to wait two, two and a half... gosh, maybe even just about three years to see Remus/Harry become something other people actually want to see.

Not that my opinion counts for much. (http://glassesreflect.net/authors/drworm.html)

Especially recently... (http://www.livejournal.com/community/wishforthemoon/14816.html)

From: [identity profile] ghostgecko.livejournal.com

Have you reads the stories by Dr Worm? They're intellgent, full of depth and complexity and emotion, in-character and just plain amazing (and grammatically correct!). Check out her stuff on fanfiction.net if you don't believe me . . . it's sweet, but more than just cuddly.
