Pop gods and goddesses

I'm more than a little uncertain about some of these, but the best configuration I could come up with is:

Zeus -- Kevin
Poseidon -- Nick
Hades -- Eminem
Apollo -- Justin
Ares -- AJ
Hephaestus -- JC
Hermes -- Chris
Dionysus -- Brian

Hera -- Lance
Athena -- Mandy
Aphrodite -- Britney
Artemis -- Christina
Demeter -- Joey
Hestia -- Howie

The main problem, of course, is that the majority of the Greek gods didn't really come across as kind or sensitive in any way--so a number of character assignments are based on a single shared element rather than a complete personality match.

Dude, I did this ages ago in IM once! YES! To me, JC's Aphrodite though. And Joey's Gahnesha, the elephant-headed Hindu god.

Neat! I was very much considering JC for Aphrodite myself. But I wanted all of the Olympian gods represented, which meant somebody had to be Hephaestus, and both he and JC create strange and wonderful things, so...
