I really, really, really want to name one of my kids Woonsocket. Only I will not. Because I am neither cruel nor inhumane. And because I'm unlikely to have kids anytime soon.

Woonsocket does have a lovely sound, but you wouldn't. You just wouldn't. If you did, I would have to spirit the poor child away and name her or him something sensible. Consider yourself warned.
