I had the same revelation myself only a short while ago. My favorite pairings in HnG were Akira/Waya and Hikaru/Akira (plus a slightly perverse fondness for Ogata/Akira), and then I suddenly realized one day that Isumi and Akira? Pretty much perfect for each other. (And looking back over my comment, it becomes very apparent that I'm a huge whore for Akira. Which I'm okay with, really.) Anyway, thanks so much for the comment!
