I actually left that comment up because I thought it was hilarious that someone called this story disgusting rather than one of the many NC-17 rated stories I've written (several of them including some pretty serious kink). But, hey, thanks a lot for defending my story, anyway; that was really sweet of you!
And I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed it. Sirius is unbelievably adorable as a confused and emotionally vulnerable adolescent. If I were writing this story now rather than five years ago, I would have made it a bit more obvious that Remus's reaction at the breakfast table is due to his own crush on Sirius and his consequent disappointment at Sirius and James's new relationship. So Remus isn't actually meaning to be insensitive; he's just feeling a little crushed right now. He'll get his chance later when Lily finally deigns to notice James, though, so that's all right.
