I always loved the relationship between Sandy and Dennys. I thought there was just something so beautiful and loving and close beyond the whole twin thing.
Oh, absolutely. Many Waters was my favorite of her books because of the relationship between the two of them. And it's all the more wonderful because in the first three books the twins are presented as the ordinary, "normal" ones, and then we find that they'd shared this amazing experience as teenagers that they just never spoke about to anyone--unlike Meg and Charles Wallace, whose experiences were more integrated by the family.
Do you recall where you read those other Sandy/Dennys stories? I'd really love to see them.
