Thanks for participating in this exchange and for writing me a story!

General likes: happy (or at least hopeful) endings, friendship, family (either biological or chosen), people being smart, people being competent, women being awesome, platonic bedsharing, non-platonic bedsharing, shared showers and other forms of non-sexual intimacy, kissing, masturbation, mutual masturbation, talking during sex (not dirty talk, just ordinary conversation), first-time fic, established relationship fic (especially if there's some sort of shift in the dynamics of the relationship), mild angst with an eventual happy ending, team fic, mission fic, coming out fic, worldbuilding, dialogue (but not dialogue-only fic), third person POV, past tense

General dislikes: breathplay/asphyxiation, foodsmut, cannibalism, bloodplay, knifeplay, scat, vomit, character-bashing, unexamined misogyny and racism, "on-screen" character death, heavy angst, abuse (if practiced by the protagonists; I'm okay with assorted baddies being abusive), betrayal (excepting what occurs in canon, if you're writing future fic), bad grammar and spelling, characters eschewing contractions, non-English words interspersed unrealistically into English dialogue (e.g. an English conversation in which the only Spanish used is "sí"), epithets (e.g. the blond, the taller man, the sniper, the hacker), the phrase "the other man" or "the other," PWPs, crackfic, AUs, non-con/rape (again, this is only a squick if practiced by the protagonists), dubcon, sexual coercion, cheating (though open relationships and other forms of polyamory are absolutely fine), cookie cutter sex scenes (if sex scenes aren't your forte, then I'd much prefer an excellent G-rated story than a boring NC-17-rated one), unsafe sex, holiday fic, genderswap, first person POV, second person POV

I'd prefer slash over gen, if you can do that. If you're primarily or exclusively a gen writer, though, then Cougar backstory and/or a story about his relationships with the rest of the Losers would be great.

Ordinarily I'd say more about my particular requests in this letter, but I can't remember precisely what pairings (if I had any besides Cougar/Jensen) and other story elements I requested. Really, though, pretty much anything that avoids my squicks will be adored, so just write something that pleases you, and I'm sure to like it, too.
