ETA: After having saved five years' worth of LJ posts, I've unflocked my stories again. Also, I highly recommend LJ Book if you're interested in backing up your own LJ. It converts as many of your posts as you want--including comments!--into a single pdf file. It might take a few tries, since a lot of people are using it today, but once it's actually begun, the process only takes five minutes or so. Plus, I donated to the site, so you should totally take advantage of it and put my money to good use.
