Thank you very much for the lovely comment! I think that not reading the headers properly might actually be the best way to read apocafic, since then you get the surprise of the ending. And it's really great to hear that you liked Simon's characterization; he's not always the easiest for me to see and hear in my head, but of course he had to have a large role in a plot that involves a medical mystery.
