Oh, interesting! I know a decent number of words that have different UK/US meanings, since my sister lives in England and tells me every time she runs into a new one, but I hadn't realized that we had different definitions for the word stillbirth.
And, yeah, I was picturing Maya being somewhere in her fourth to sixth month of pregnancy, which places it right before 24 weeks. I'll keep this in mind for the future, though. ...Not that I imagine I'll have much likelihood of discussing miscarriages/stillbirths with someone from the UK, but if I do, it'll be good to know the right terminology to use. :-)
