This is a wonderful story, so spot-on in the Firefly voices (especially Mal - I could just hear "No reason they can't do both" in Nathan Fillion's voice with the Mal accent). And I love the way the Serenity crew walks into an unknown situation and assesses and re-assesses and re-assesses almost dispassionately, analyzing how things are and what can and can't be done, even in a case that ends up as grim as this. Gorgeous.
