Since the movie was my first exposure to Star Trek (aside from watching episodes of Voyager with my parents when I was in elementary school), I'm really enjoying the fan reviews. I went in knowing only character names, so it was fun to discover that this is a whole new universe. (I like that move; it seems respectful.)
I had no idea what their characters were like. Kirk is exactly the kind of character I love reading about/seeing develop. And McCoy is the best kind of awesome.
Where are you finding the best of the new fic? Do you know of certain writers or is there a hidden bastion someplace?
