Thanks so much for writing for me! I really enjoyed participating in Trick or Treat last year and am looking forward to doing so again. I hope you have a lot of fun, too!

My signup requests are all for fic, but I'm happy to receive art as a bonus gift.

With one exception, I have a strong preference for Tricks that either 1) use supernatural horror tropes in a non-horrific fashion, e.g. werewolves who retain their humanity while shifted, or 2) involve scary supernatural threats that are soundly defeated by the protagonists for a happy ending. The one exception is Dark Matter, where I'd prefer canon-level horror.

Particularly relevant to this exchange: I like werewolves, ghosts, and witches; am generally disinterested in vampires but can be persuaded if the fic is awesome; and do not want zombies. Regarding Treats, I like anything from G-rated fluff to hardcore porn, but don't care for PWPs; I like some sort of character and/or relationship development along with my smut. If you want further details on my fic preferences, you can check out my general fic kinks and squicks post or browse my fic exchanges tag.

Thanks so much for writing for me! Some of my prompts are longer than others this year, but rest assured that I'd be equally delighted to receive any one of my requested fandoms. You can browse my general kinks and squicks post and my fic exchanges tag if you want more details. I hope you have lots of fun, and I look forward to seeing what you create!

Thanks very much for participating in this exchange and writing for me! Optional details are of course optional, but here are some of my general preferences and a variety of prompts for my requested fandoms, in case you wanted some extra direction. Some of my fandoms this year have lengthier prompts than others, but rest assured that I'll be equally thrilled with fic for any of them. Have fun, and I'm sure I'll love whatever you end up creating!

Thanks again, and happy writing!
Thanks for offering to write in one or more of my requested fandoms! If you want a better idea of what I like, you can check out my general fic kinks and squicks post. Particular to Purim Gifts, I've listed my favorite pairings in the fandom details below, but all five of these fandoms are ones in which I'm very happy to receive gen fic about any of my favorite characters. And do have fun with whatever you decide to write; I'm sure I'll love it!

Big Hero 6
I adore GoGo Tomago! I'm pretty OTP-ish in this fandom: GoGo/Wasabi is my only real ship. But I'm also very happy to read gen about GoGo and/or Honey Lemon and/or Aunt Cass, especially fic that delves into their unique interests. The absolute best thing about this movie for me is how it validates intellectual passion. And I also love fic about characters cooking and/or eating, so Aunt Cass is totally covered, too.

Captain America (Movies)
My favorite eligible characters are Natasha and Peggy, though Maria Hill is also amazing and I liked what little we saw of Sharon Carter. Preferred ships include Natasha/Sam, Sharon/Natasha, Bucky/Steve/Natasha, Bucky/Steve/Natasha/Sam, and Bucky/Peggy/Steve. Oh, and Bucky & Peggy friendship fic would be great, too; I don't understand why there's so little of that out there.

Loki: Agent of Asgard
I assume anyone offering this fandom for Purim Gifts is cool with the idea of writing Verity Willis, so I'll just say: yes, Verity fic for me, please! I don't ship Loki/Verity, but their friendship is awesome and I'd love to see more of it. Background Loki/Sigurd is cool but extremely optional; I really do want the focus to be on Verity (& Loki).

Nobuta wo Produce
Mariko's my absolute favorite, though I also love Nobuta a lot, and I'm charmed by the unlikely understanding Bando shares with Nobuta. Preferred ships are Nobuta/Mariko, Akira/Mariko, and Shuuji/Nobuta/Akira.

Pacific Rim
I love both Mako Mori and Sasha Kaidanovsky; highly competent, professional women ftw! I haven't read the comic, so please don't rely heavily on characters, plot points, etc. from it. Preferred ships are Sasha/Mako and Raleigh/Herc/Mako.
Thank you so much for participating in this exchange and for offering one or more of my requested fandoms! A couple of important things I wanted to tell you:

* Optional details are optional. I've tried to offer at least one possible hook for a story in each of my requests because that's how I like to write for exchanges, but if your creativity is sparked in other ways, or if you just don't like any of my suggestions, then feel free to ignore them and write a different story for those characters.

* I'm chattier about some of my requests than others this year. Please don't think that this indicates a preference on my part for one fandom over another. I promise, I'd be equally thrilled to receive a story in any of these fandoms.

If you want a better idea of the type of stories I like, you can read my general fic kinks and squicks post and/or check out the fandom details below:

Death by Silver, The Goblin Emperor, Imperial Radch series, Iskryne series, Nobuta wo Produce, Nova )
Thanks so much for writing for me! Sorry it took me a few extra days to complete this post. I promise that's not a reflection of my enthusiasm; this is one of my favorite exchanges, and I'm very much looking forward to every part of it. I hope you have a lot of fun with your story, and I'm sure I'll love whatever you come up with!

General likes: I like happy (or at least hopeful) endings, family (including chosen family), friendship, loyalty, determination, cooking and/or eating, people being smart, people being competent, platonic bedsharing, non-platonic bedsharing, pining, unrequited love that turns out to be requited, hurt/comfort, kissing, masturbation, mutual masturbation, frottage, intercrural sex, oral sex, talking during sex (not dirty talk, just ordinary conversation), first-time fic, established relationship fic in which there's some sort of shift in the dynamics of the relationship, character- and relationship-driven gen, mild angst with an eventual happy ending, BDSM, watersports, worldbuilding, cultural differences, historical details, werewolves, backstory, missing scenes, future fic, third person POV, and past tense.

The things I don't like include breathplay/asphyxiation, vore/cannibalism, scat, emetophilia/vomit, heavy angst, parent-child incest, dialogue-only fic, no dialogue, epithets (e.g. the blond, the taller man, the younger man), the phrases "to his [or her] credit," "had the grace to," and "took him[self] in hand," PWPs, and second person POV.

Frontier Wolf, The Truce of the Games )

Archer's Goon, Elementary, Frontier Wolf, Iskryne series, The Left Hand of Darkness, Nova )
Thanks so much for writing for me! This is my first time participating in Sutcliff Swap, and I'm very excited. I hope you have a lot of fun with your story; I'm sure I'll love whatever you come up with.

I was a bit pressed for time when filling out my sign-up, which is why I put nothing down for my optional details, but basically: I like happy (or at least hopeful) endings, friendship, loyalty, determination, cooking and/or eating, people being smart, people being competent, platonic bedsharing, non-platonic bedsharing, pining, unrequited love that turns out to be requited, hurt/comfort, kissing, masturbation, mutual masturbation, frottage, intercrural sex, intergluteal sex, oral sex, talking during sex (not dirty talk, just ordinary conversation), first-time fic, established relationship fic in which there's some sort of shift in the dynamics of the relationship, mild angst with an eventual happy ending, BDSM, watersports, worldbuilding, cultural differences, historical details, werewolves, backstory, missing scenes, future fic, third person POV, and past tense.

The things I don't like are breathplay/asphyxiation, vore/cannibalism, scat, emetophilia/vomit, heavy angst, parent-child incest, dialogue-only fic, no dialogue, epithets (e.g. the blond, the taller man, the younger man), the phrases "to his [or her] credit," "had the grace to," and "took him[self] in hand," PWPs, second person POV, and AUs. Supernatural elements are absolutely fine, as long as they don't contradict canon. I'd prefer if you could avoid non-canonical character deaths; I feel that Sutcliff's put my heart through the wringer quite enough, and I don't need to compound that feeling. :-) Also, please no Eagle of the Ninth references. (I imprinted pretty hard on the film, and I'd rather not be tossed out of the fic by details from book-only canon.)

Frontier Wolf, Sword at Sunset, The Truce of the Games )
Thanks for offering to write in one or more of my requested fandoms! If you want a better idea of what I like, you can check out my general fic kinks and squicks post. Particular to Purim Gifts, I've listed my favorite pairings in the fandom details below, but all four of these fandoms are ones in which I'm very happy to receive gen fic about any of my favorite characters. And do have fun with whatever you decide to write; I'm sure I'll love it!

The Avengers
My favorite eligible characters are Natasha, Pepper, Jane, and Maria Hill. Favorite pairings, etc. include Bucky/Steve/Natasha, Steve/Natasha, Pepper/Tony, Pepper/Rhodey/Tony, Pepper/Natasha/Tony, and Jane/Darcy. Oh, and Clint/Natasha intimate gen, where they may or may not be having sex (it's up to you), but either way it doesn't change their fundamental partnership.

Inception RPF
So, when I say I want Inception RPF, what I really mean is I want Joseph Gordon-Levitt fic. I do prefer his being written as gay (Tom Hardy/JGL is particularly nice), but you should also feel free to write gen in which his sexuality isn't mentioned if that's your preference. And if you offered this fandom in the hopes of writing one of the Inception actresses, then Ellen Page gen or femslash is a more than acceptable alternative.

Nobuta wo Produce
Mariko's my absolute favorite, though I also love Nobuta a lot, and I'm charmed by the unlikely understanding Bando shares with Nobuta. Favorite pairings, etc. include Nobuta/Mariko, Akira/Mariko, Shuuji/Nobuta/Akira, and Nobuta/Shittaka.

Suits
I love Jessica and Donna best, though Rachel and Scotty are also awesome, and I wouldn't say no to a story about the mysterious Vanessa. I'm two or three episodes behind on the current season (no worries; I'll be caught up by the time stories are revealed), but Zoe seems pretty cool, too. My favorite pairings, etc., are Jessica/Harvey, Donna/Jessica/Harvey, Donna/Rachel, and Donna/Jessica.

* Yuletide tends to be a high-pressure exchange for a lot of people, and while I'm not trying to invalidate your feelings if you're one of them, I do want to encourage you to not worry too much. Three of my fandoms are tiny even by Yuletide standards, and the fourth fandom has a heavy preponderance of self-insert fic. (Not that there's anything wrong with that! It's just not what I'm looking for in fanfic.) So there's very little you could write that I wouldn't be delighted by, just for the fact of its existence.

* I'm chattier about some of my requests than others this year. Please don't think that this indicates a preference on my part for one fandom over another. I promise, I'd be equally thrilled to receive a story in any of these fandoms.

As I said, I tend to prefer more info rather than less when writing for exchanges. If you feel the same, then please check out my general fic kinks and squicks post and/or continue reading:

My favorite pairings, etc., are Jessica/Mike, Jessica/Mike/Harvey, Donna/Rachel, Jessica/Donna/Harvey, and Jessica/Donna. Just, please, no Trevor, Jenny, or Louis, and no Mike/Harvey (except as part of a Jessica/Mike/Harvey threesome, if you're going that route).

X-Men: First Class
My favorite eligible characters are Erik, Angel, and Moira. If you're interested in writing shipfic, I'd love any of: Erik/Charles/Angel, Erik/Moira, Angel/Raven, Alex/Darwin/Angel. This fandom is one where I really don't mind if you break my heart--angst; heavy depictions of racism, homophobia, sexism, and/or anti-Semitism; and ambiguous or downright unhappy endings are all fine by me. Which isn't to say that you have to write angsty or serious fic; happy or romantic fluff is equally welcome! Just, the option is there if you want it.

Thanks for signing up to write for me! If you'd find it helpful, I have a fairly exhaustive general kinks and squicks post that you can check out. I'm open to either triangles or V-relationships in all of my requested fandoms; I've noted below which character I'd prefer to be the fulcrum of the vee, but if you have a seriously awesome story idea that runs counter to my preferences, then please go for it.

Thanks so much for signing up to create stories and graphics for me! I participated in this exchange last year and loved it, and I'm really excited for this year, as well.

If you're looking for suggestions on what sorts of stories I like, the first place to look is my general kinks and squicks post. A couple of my preferred tropes are more suited to longer fic than what gets produced for Purim Gifts, so just ignore anything that would necessitate a really plotty story. I tend to prefer slash, het, and femslash to gen, but don't let that worry you if you're a gen writer; I do enjoy gen (especially gen involving queer characters), and I'm more than happy to meet you halfway rather than demand that you write something you'll hate.

Favorite pairings, relationships, and characters in my requested fandoms:

Bend It Like Beckham Jess/Joe/Jules ♥, Jess/Jules, Jess-Jules, Jess

The Good Wife Alicia/Kalinda ♥, Alicia/Will, Diane/Kalinda, Kalinda/Lana, Kalinda/Donna, Alicia-Diane, Alicia, Kalinda, Diane, Wendy, Eli

Numb3rs Don/Charlie/Amita ♥, Don/Charlie, Don/Amita, Amita/Kim Hall, Don-Charlie, Don-Charlie-Alan, Amita, Don

Sherlock Sally/Molly, Sally, Soo Lin

I also have a somewhat inexplicable passion for the idea of Lestrade as a French Jew whose family immigrated to England sometime in the late-19th to mid-20th century. If you wanted to explore that in a gen or slash story (my favorite Lestrade pairings are Sherlock/Lestrade, John/Lestrade, and Sherlock/John/Lestrade), then that would be completely awesome. If you're not up for religion-bending and/or don't think it in keeping with the spirit of Purim Gifts, however, then any of my other Sherlock pairing or character requests are more than welcome.

Favorite relationships and characters for graphics (if you're choosing to create art or icons; ignore the following if you're going the pretty photographs route):

Jess-Jules, Jess, Alicia-Kalinda, Kalinda, Diane, Don-Charlie, Amita, Don, Sally

Thanks for participating in this exchange and for writing me a story!

General likes: happy (or at least hopeful) endings, friendship, family (either biological or chosen), people being smart, people being competent, women being awesome, platonic bedsharing, non-platonic bedsharing, shared showers and other forms of non-sexual intimacy, kissing, masturbation, mutual masturbation, talking during sex (not dirty talk, just ordinary conversation), first-time fic, established relationship fic (especially if there's some sort of shift in the dynamics of the relationship), mild angst with an eventual happy ending, team fic, mission fic, coming out fic, worldbuilding, dialogue (but not dialogue-only fic), third person POV, past tense

General dislikes: breathplay/asphyxiation, foodsmut, cannibalism, bloodplay, knifeplay, scat, vomit, character-bashing, unexamined misogyny and racism, "on-screen" character death, heavy angst, abuse (if practiced by the protagonists; I'm okay with assorted baddies being abusive), betrayal (excepting what occurs in canon, if you're writing future fic), bad grammar and spelling, characters eschewing contractions, non-English words interspersed unrealistically into English dialogue (e.g. an English conversation in which the only Spanish used is "sí"), epithets (e.g. the blond, the taller man, the sniper, the hacker), the phrase "the other man" or "the other," PWPs, crackfic, AUs, non-con/rape (again, this is only a squick if practiced by the protagonists), dubcon, sexual coercion, cheating (though open relationships and other forms of polyamory are absolutely fine), cookie cutter sex scenes (if sex scenes aren't your forte, then I'd much prefer an excellent G-rated story than a boring NC-17-rated one), unsafe sex, holiday fic, genderswap, first person POV, second person POV

I'd prefer slash over gen, if you can do that. If you're primarily or exclusively a gen writer, though, then Cougar backstory and/or a story about his relationships with the rest of the Losers would be great.

Ordinarily I'd say more about my particular requests in this letter, but I can't remember precisely what pairings (if I had any besides Cougar/Jensen) and other story elements I requested. Really, though, pretty much anything that avoids my squicks will be adored, so just write something that pleases you, and I'm sure to like it, too.
Thank you so much for participating in this exchange and for offering one or more of my requested fandoms! Three important things I wanted to tell you before I begin the letter proper:

* Optional details are optional. I tried to offer at least one or two possible hooks for a story in each of my requests because that's how I like to write for exchanges, but if your creativity is sparked in other ways, or if you just don't like any of my suggestions, then feel free to ignore them and write a different story for those characters.

Also, I requested slash for all four of my requests this year, but if you're a gen or het writer or if you simply aren't seeing it for those pairings, then that's okay. I'm interested in these couples because of the complex relationships between the characters in canon, not just the possibility of them becoming romantically involved, so it's perfectly fine by me if you write those relationships as platonic. (Well, except for Nisus and Euryalus, whom I do see as having a canonical romance, but in their case I'm happy to receive a story that focuses more on their friendship or soldierly bond than on their sex life.) The only thing I ask is that you not pair my requested characters with anyone else (with a couple of exceptions that I'll discuss below).

* Despite the fact that I was a lot more loquacious in my first two requests, I really would be equally thrilled by a story in any of these fandoms, on the off-chance that you were worried that I might love my Wang Qiu Wang Zi or Aeneid requests less than the other two. My inability to brainstorm more than a couple of possible scenarios for those fandoms doesn't mean that I won't be charmed and amazed by whatever story you might come up with for one of them.

* Yuletide tends to be a high-pressure exchange for a lot of people, and while I'm not trying to invalidate your feelings if you're one of them, I do want to encourage you to not worry too much. All four of my fandoms this year are quite rare even by Yuletide standards (I don't think any of them has more than 20 stories at most in the fandom), so there's pretty much nothing you could write that I wouldn't coo over for the very fact of its existence.

As I said, I tend to prefer more info rather than less when writing for exchanges. If you feel the same, then please continue reading for my general likes and dislikes and some fandom-specific details:
